How to Apply
Welcome! CCRI has an open admissions policy giving everyone who applies an opportunity to pursue higher education.
- Spring semester begins in January
- Summer semesters begin in May and July
- Fall semester begins in September
NOTE: You may apply for degree and non-degree programs. Upon submitting your free application,
you will receive an electronic acceptance message.
A new student is someone who has never previously attended CCRI, someone who currently attends another college or university and would like to take courses for transfer, or someone who has attended CCRI as a high school dual enrollment student. The application process requires that you submit your social security number as part of the application process. If applying without a social security number please visit this page.
Note: A student who previously attended the college through the Division of Workforce Partnerships,
will need to submit a new application.
A returning CCRI student is someone who has graduated from the college, stopped attending CCRI for at least one semester, previously accepted and never attended, and would like to enroll in classes.
Note: A student who is a CCRI graduate must change their major before enrolling in classes. A returning student who previously attended the college in a non-degree (unclassified) status, may return as a non-degree student or change their major before enrolling in classes.
Please look for the Returning Student Readmission into Degree/Certificate Program link in the For Students tab once you gain access to your MyCCRI account.
If you need help registering for classes, please contact email@example.com or call 401-825-1240. (Please Note: students who currently attend other colleges and plan to take courses at CCRI may need to provide an unofficial transcript for placement into certain course selections. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org).
