IMPORTANT MESSAGE for Health Science Program Students

I understand that a completed COVID series plus booster dose and influenza vaccination is required prior to final acceptance into a health science program.

Good news about CCRI's Nursing Program!

To meet Rhode Island's need for more highly-skilled nurses to support our state's healthcare system, CCRI is expanding the number of students accepted to our Nursing program.

New Nursing application period for Spring 2023 Class!

The new application period for will be from September 7 to October 14.

Associate Degree Program

What you need to submit your application:

  • Official high school, GED, or bachelor's degree transcript.
  • Complete prerequisites: ENGL-1010, PSYC-2010, & BIOL-2201 with a C or better.
  • HESI is now being offered remotely.
  • A CNA license is no longer required for acceptance to the nursing program.
  • Students must be fully vaccinated against COVID and boosted upon final acceptance to the program.

Spring 2023 Class Start

PBHS applications open from Saturday, October 1 to Monday, October 31.  Applications submitted throughout this application period are treated the same regardless of submission date. Submission of online PBHS applications for October begins no earlier than October 1.

The Health Sciences programs have a competitive two-step admissions process requiring successful completion of program requirements before you can submit your PBHS application.

Before applying, check your eligibility to apply status to make sure all requirements have been met and recorded in the PBHS Pre-Admission Points/Status in MyCCRI. When all requirements have been met, you will be eligible to apply to a program.
