Program Description: Information for current and prospective preceptors for CCRI Semester 4 Nursing Students,
including information about the Preceptor Immersion Capstone Experience, the importance
of the experience, and the roles of the student and the preceptor. Course includes
review of Preceptor Immersion Capstone Experience Manual and completion of Preceptor
Immersion Capstone Experience: The Basics of Precepting online video course.

Who Should Attend: Current CCRI Nursing Preceptors and those interested in precepting CCRI Nursing Students.
Learning Outcome: As a result of this activity, participants will be able to describe the roles and
responsibilities of the preceptor (experienced RN) in supporting student learning.
Credit Designation: This activity is being provided for 1.5 Nursing Contact Hours. Expiration Date -
November 30, 2027.
Criteria for Successful Completion: To receive credit for this activity, participants must:

- View 100% of the Preceptor Immersion Capstone Experience: The Basics of Precepting
online video
- Complete the Post-Test with a score of 80% or higher
- Complete the post-course evaluation
