Self Care and Resiliency

Program Description: During this enduring, online presentation, participants will learn about self-care and resiliency, the role of stigma in adopting self-care strategies, benefits of self-care and the cost of avoiding self-care, various strategies of self-care, and how to develop and apply your own self-care plan.

Who Should Attend: Nurses, Social Workers, Dental Professionals, Allied Health Professionals, Health and Rehabilitative Sciences Students, and anyone working in the healthcare field.

Learning Objectives and Outcomes: At the completion of this activity, participants will:

  • Self-report that they can define and describe self-care, resiliency, and the role of stigma in adopting self-care strategies.
  • Gain knowledge of how to apply self-care strategies in development of a self-care plan.
