Trauma Informed Care in the Healthcare Setting - Module 2
Program Description: During this presentation, participants will become familiar with definitions and key terms related to trauma and trauma informed care, review how to recognize the warning signs of a mental health crisis and risk factors for a mental health crisis, learn ways to help manage a mental health crisis, and practice applying this new knowledge to a case study.

Who Should Attend: Nurses, Dental Health Professionals, Social Workers, Allied and Rehabilitative Health Professionals, and anyone who works with patients and/or clients in the healthcare setting.
Learning Outcomes: As a result of this activity, participants will:
- Demonstrate increased knowledge of trauma informed care and how trauma informed practice can be incorporated into healthcare delivery to benefit patients.
