Advisory Board Bios

Jenna Matisewski graduated from Villanova University with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics.  Prior to pursuing my teaching career, I worked in the private sector fulfilling various roles focused around consulting and data analytics.  In 2017, I completed the Teacher Certification Program at Providence College and received my Secondary Education certificate.  During the 2017 - 2018 school year, I joined the Scituate School Department as the math interventionist at Scituate Middle School.  The following year, I joined the faculty at Scituate High School as a math teacher and have been there ever since.  Throughout the last 6 years, I have had the opportunity to take on the role of the Computer Science teacher at Scituate High School.  At Scituate High School, students have the opportunity to enroll in a Computer Science pathway.  We currently offer four Computer Science classes in this pathway including Introduction to Computing and Data Science, AP Computer Science Principles, AP Computer Science A, and Cybersecurity.  I am looking forward to connecting with other professionals to discuss the importance of the emerging field of Cybersecurity.
