Goal 1 (Priority): New LMS Training Needs
|
Collaborate with the Information Technology and Online Learning departments to identify
and develop faculty training needs for the transition to the new Learning Management
System (LMS), scheduled for rollout in 2027. The committee will gather faculty input
through surveys, focus groups, and pilot testing to ensure that training resources
are practical, accessible, and aligned with teaching and learning priorities.

Goal 2: Accessibility in Academic Technology
|
Support CCRI’s efforts to achieve full accessibility in academic technology and instructional
materials by April 2026. The committee will work with faculty, IT, and accessibility
services to identify barriers, recommend solutions, and promote best practices that
ensure all technology and course materials meet accessibility standards and serve
the needs of all students.

Goal 3: Academic Technology 3–5 Year Plan
|
Develop a comprehensive 3–5 year academic technology plan that addresses evolving
needs in learning spaces, classroom hardware, instructional software, and emerging
tools. The committee will gather faculty input and collaborate with campus stakeholders
to prioritize investments, support innovative teaching practices, and ensure technology
resources remain current and effective.
