Continuing Education for Home and Community Based Service Providers

CCRI’s Division of Workforce Partnerships is committed to developing demand-driven training that prepares Rhode Islanders for today's challenging healthcare landscape. These courses are geared specifically to current employees of the state’s Home and Community Based Service (HCBS) providers, including CNAs, nursing professionals, social workers, home health aides, community health workers (CHWs), case workers and the managers that lead them.

In many cases, workforce training funding is available for these programs; students and employers alike may use the Open-Enrollment Inquiry Form to request more information, and whether you qualify for free course tuition. All classes are held at CCRI’s many centrally located campuses across the state, but employers wishing to enroll 15 or more employees may host a customized class onsite or request a virtual class format.
