CCRI students invited to apply for ambassador role
March 22, 2019
If you are a Community College of Rhode Island student who would like to represent the college at special events on campus and in the community, consider applying for the CCRI Student Ambassador program.
Student ambassadors share their college experiences with prospective students while visiting high schools, attending college fairs, helping at information sessions, conducting campus tours, participating in new student orientation, registration and commencement and assisting at other campus events.
CCRI Student Ambassadors receive many benefits for their service to the college, including compensation for their work, leadership opportunities and a résumé-building experience. They also receive a professional blazer, polo shirt and official college name tag as well as a certificate of appreciation signed by President Meghan Hughes.
Those wishing to become a Student Ambassador must maintain a 2.50 GPA, complete 12 hours of coursework before application deadline, be enrolled at least half time (a minimum of six credit hours) per semester, complete an Ambassador application and submit two completed faculty/staff recommendation forms. Please note that applying to the Student Ambassador program does not guarantee acceptance.
