Copyright Policies for Distance Learning
In November 2002, a federal law was enacted to expand the exemption under Copyright Law that was available to educational organizations for distance learning courses. This law was entitled the Technology, Education, and Copyright Harmonization Act of 2002, and it is now known as the TEACH Act:
