TutorMe

TutorMe is an online tutoring platform that allows students to connect with one of more than 10,000 verified tutors 24 hours a day covering more than 300 subjects from the comfort of their own home. This service provides a necessary lifeline to students who may not have time during the day to access one of our tutors, or those who need immediate assistance during inopportune hours.

With online learning requiring students to access many new platforms throughout the day, TutorMe makes finding a tutor as simple as possible. Once students log into their Blackboard account, a link for TutorMe will be available under their course listing on the left-hand side of the navigation bar. Within 90 seconds of their request, they will have access to a tutor. In addition to virtual tutoring – no matter how early or late in the day – students also have the option to submit a term paper to TutorMe’s Writing Lab, where they will receive detailed feedback in less than 12 hours.

Here's how it works:

For students, the process is simple; when you sign into Blackboard, a link to TutorMe can be found under “Tools.”

Click on “Connect with a Tutor” and select your subject in the search bar.

In the popup window, describe the assignment or concept you need help with and TutorMe's smart matching system will connect you with an online tutor. 

It doesn’t matter if you want help with a single problem or you need a 3-hour lesson. The lesson space features a virtual whiteboard, text editor, audio/video chat, and screensharing, plus all lessons are archived for your convenience!
