CCRI, in collaboration with community partners, offers a Case Manager training program
for people interested in helping adults with mental illness and other life challenges,
and ensuring they receive the proper care to meet their mental, physical, and emotional
needs. During this program, students will earn college credits from CCRI and participate
in a paid internship with one of the community partner agencies. Program graduates
can expect to continue their employment as Case Managers with partner agencies and
will earn a pay increase for successful completion. Successful graduates will earn
an Academic Certificate in Case Management, 21 college credits, and an industry-recognized
credential if they meet all program requirements. The credits can later be applied
toward CCRI’s Associate Degree in Social Work.The Case Manager training consists of
a 2-week orientation training, followed by two 10-week semesters and a 20-29 hour
per week paid internship. Students will take 3 classes per semester in a hybrid format;
approximately one in-person class each week will be held at CCRI Knight Campus, Warwick.
Bilingual students are encouraged to apply.
