Long-Term Disability

Long-term disability benefits are provided to help eligible employees cope with an illness or injury that results in a long-term absence from employment. Long-term disability benefits are designed to ensure a continuing income for employees who are disabled and unable to work.

Employees participating in the College's 403(b) plan are automatically covered by the long-term disability plan of Standard Insurance Company subject to all terms and conditions of that plan; and employees participating in the Employees' Retirement System of RI (ERSRI) are automatically covered by the long-term disability plan of ERSRI subject to all terms and conditions of that plan.
