CCNP
The CCNP curriculum consists of two courses: CCNP ROUTE and CCNP SWITCH, each course is equivalent to 120 hours of instructions. The curriculum is designed for students seeking career oriented, enterprise-level networking skills. The CCNP classes* help students develop the skills needed to succeed in ICT-related jobs and prepare for the Cisco CCNP certification.
The CCNP curriculum equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to plan,
implement, secure, maintain, and troubleshoot converged enterprise networks. The curriculum
was designed to reflect the job skills and responsibilities that are associated with
professional-level job roles such as network engineer, systems engineer, network support
engineer, network administrator, network consultant , and system integrator.
*Prerequisites: CCNA-level knowledge and skills required, CCNA certification or completion
of the CCNA 1 - 3 with the Cisco Academy.
The CCNP certification
validates a network professional's ability to install, configure and troubleshoot converged local and wide area networks. Network Professionals who achieve the CCNP have demonstrated the knowledge and skills required to manage the routers and switches that form the network core, as well as edge applications that integrate voice, wireless, and security into the network
