Academic Master Plan Advisory Board

The Advisory Board is charged with oversight of the Academic Master Plan (AMP). The board will solicit updates on the status of various initiatives from Academic Master Plan workgroups, provide feedback on action plans presented, monitor the progress of the Academic Master Plan and the milestones described within, and advise the Office of Academic Affairs on any necessary modifications to the AMP.

Workgroups

Compressed-Terms Workgroup

Investigate implementation of a seven-week, compressed course delivery model. Review the available literature on compressed semesters and identify model institutions and experts in this area. Investigate implementation, including visiting and learning from peer institutions who have successfully implemented compressed semester options. Make a recommendation to the Vice President of Academic Affairs of at least one potential model for implementation.
