COVID-19 Guidelines

  • Everyone, regardless of vaccination status, is required to wear a mask/face covering over both their nose and mouth at all times when on campus, except when eating or drinking.
  • Everyone coming to one of our campuses must show either a proof of vaccination or a negative COVID test within 24 hours of coming to campus. Those who arrive without either proof of vaccination or a negative test will be directed to our on-campus testing site to undergo a rapid test. COVID-19 Information
  • CCRI requires students to be fully vaccinated, and when eligible, be boosted, to attend in-person classes this Spring, per the Council on Postsecondary Education COVID-19 vaccine policy.

The Community College of Rhode Island is recognized as a National Certified Testing Center. The following tests are offered through the Testing Center, though not all are currently being offered remotely.

  • HESI Health Educational System Incorporated
  • PSB Health Occupations Aptitude Examination
  • MAT  (Miller Analogies Test) 
  • DSSTs  (DANTES Subject Standardized Tests) 
  • TOEFL (Test of English as a World Language - From the Educational Testing Service website, offered only on the Liston Campus)  
  • CLEP (College Level Examination Program)
  • ACCUPLACER (Placement Testing)
  • LSAT (From the Law School Admission Council website) 
  • ASE  (From the Automotive Service Excellence website) 
  • ACT Assessment -  From the ACT website 
  • Health Care Written Bilingual Test  (currently not being offered)
  • Versant Spanish Test (currently not being offered)
  • Iso-Quality Testing (currently not being offered)
