The Dental Health Department seeks to prepare students as dental professionals who have the skills required to be competent members of the dental care team, deliver quality dental health care to the public, have the knowledge to pass national licensure and certification examinations and are committed to professional development through life-long learning.
Accredited Programs
The programs in dental assisting and dental hygiene are accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation and has been granted the accreditation status of “approval without reporting requirements”. The Commission is a specialized accrediting body recognized by the United States Department of Education.
