CCRI Dental Hygiene Clinic to Host Free Sealant and Fluoride Community Day for Children & Teens

Lincoln, RI – The CCRI Dental Hygiene Clinic’s upcoming Sealant and Fluoride Community Day on Friday, April 25, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Lincoln Campus will provide free dental sealants and fluoride treatments for children and teens ages 6 to 17. The event will be led by CCRI’s dental hygiene students, who will provide preventative care under the supervision of licensed professionals.

Sealants are a safe and effective way to protect teeth from cavities, and fluoride treatments help strengthen enamel. By offering these services at no cost, CCRI aims to improve oral health access for local families while giving students valuable hands-on training in their field.

As part of the Dental Hygiene program, students provide free services to the community.

“Our dental hygiene students are excited to apply their skills while making a real impact in the community,” said Janice Schmitz, Chair of CCRI’s Dental Health programs. “This event is a wonderful opportunity for families to receive free preventative care and for our students to gain practical experience in patient care.”

Appointments are required. Parents and guardians can call 401-333-7250 to schedule their child’s visit.

This event reflects CCRI’s ongoing commitment to community service and hands-on learning. The CCRI Dental Hygiene Clinic provides affordable oral health care throughout the year while preparing students for careers in the growing field of dental hygiene.
