Events

The Community College of Rhode Island will launch Community First in the spring of 2023 by hosting community meetings within the Opportunity Zone communities in order to better understand the community’s needs and barriers to education. The listening sessions will be hosted in collaboration will several of our community-based partners. Upon the completion of these listening sessions, CCRI will begin to design programs that are specifically catered to the need of the residents through the Fall of 2023 with an anticipated comprehensive launch in January 2024, in time for the spring semester.
