Learning Outcome: As a result of this activity, participants will be able to identify signs and symptoms associated with sleep disordered breathing.
Course Objectives: Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:
- Correctly identify signs and symptoms associated with sleep disordered breathing.
- Self-report knowledge of the healthcare provider's role in identification and intervention of sleep disordered breathing.
- Correctly identify how sleep disordered breathing impacts the health and wellness of an individual.
Continuing Education Credit:
- Nursing – This nursing continuing professional development activity is provided by the Community College of Rhode Island (CCRI) for 1.0 nursing contact hours. CCRI is approved as a provider of continuing nursing professional development by the Northeast Multistate Division, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. - Dental Professionals – This program qualifies for 1.0 continuing education credit through the Community College of Rhode Island, a CODA-accredited institution. Expiration Date September 10, 2026.
