A resume is a marketing tool to grab an employer's attention and land you an interview.

A resume is a snapshot of your skills and experiences. To build a strong one, highlight your education, work history, and transferable skills, and show how your background connects to the job you're applying for.

A cover letter often goes with your resume when you apply for a job. Use it to introduce yourself, highlight your most relevant skills, and explain why you're a good fit for the role. It's also a great place to share anything important that didn't fit on your resume.
