The HESI Math section requires that students are able to answer a variety of questions based on basic math skills, problem-solving, and measurement knowledge. Here's some additional information on the HESI Math section.

Tips for Preparing for the HESI Math Section

  • Take time to memorize common measurement conversions and math formulas.
  • Balance between learning math concepts and practicing with sample problems.
  • When learning a math concept, it’s helpful to work through many example problems that demonstrate the topic. You can search online for worksheets, tutorials, and practice exercises to help reinforce your skills.
