Password Protect Word Files

Please follow the instructions below to password protect Word documents

• Open Word
• Open the document to be password protected
• Click on File in the menu

• Click on Protect Document

• From the Protect Document menu, click on Encrypt with Password

• Enter the password you wish to use to protect the document
  
  

• Click OK
