Password Protect Excel Files

Please follow the instructions below to password protect Excel files.

Open Excel
Open the file to be password protected
Click on File in the menu

Click on Protect Document

From the Protect Document menu, click on Encrypt with Password

Enter the password you wish to use to protect the document

Click OK
