CCRI's Center for Instruction & Technology (CIT) and the Instructional Support group support the college's academic mission by bringing together technology and instructional design principles to help faculty achieve their teaching and learning goals.
The CIT locations on each campus provide digital learning technologies, course design services; and faculty technology development programs, workshops, and consultations to support faculty in their role as educators. CIT locations are available at any time for faculty to use the resources for course related work and to explore emerging technologies.
Through consultation, workshops and information sessions; and by managing pilots of new instructional technologies on campus, Instructional Support staff assist faculty in accomplishing a meaningful integration of technology into their teaching practice.
The focus of our work is on research, training, and support - ensuring all faculty members have access to outstanding resources related to using educational technology in the classroom.
