Golfers Perform Well at Wayland CC on Wednesday

Warwick, R.I. – May 7, 2018: The CCRI Golf Team traveled to Wayland Country Club in Wayland, MA Wednesday May 2nd, the home golf course of Bristol Community College to play a match versus players from Bristol CC, Mass Bay Community College, Holyoke Community College and Massasoit Community College.

CCRI did not have a complete team but did have three very good individual performances. The Knights were led by Captain Tyler Boisclair who shot a team low 84 followed by Michael Occhi shooting a 90 & Matt Malo had a 107. The only school that had a complete team was the Warriors of Massasoit CC and they shot a 344 as a team. The individual Massasoit scores were: Chris McMorrow- 80, Chris Flipp- 82, Sean McIsaac- 88 & Liam Brearley- 94. There was one score for Mass Bay CC: Sam Arsenault- 90. One score from Holyoke: Ryan McGeary- 87. And the scores for the two home golfers from Bristol were Conor Chace with a 90 & Steve Cabral with a 111.

The next match for the Knights is Monday May 7th at Cranston Country Club in Cranston, RI starting at 11:00am.
