Warwick, R.I. – May 8, 2018: The CCRI Knights golf team hosted their first home match of the year on Monday. Golfers from Holyoke Community College, Bristol Community College, Springfield Technical Community College and Mass Bay Community College competed.

The golfers took to the par 71, 6100-yard course famous for its island green eighth hole, changes in elevation and the intertwined power lines that offer an extremely unique set of local rules. CCRI had three golfers compete on Monday. Leading the field was Tyler Boisclair (West Warwick, RI) who posted an admirable five over, 76. Only Nick Barber of Mass Bay came close, four strokes behind with a nine over, 80. Colby Alfred (Cranston, RI) posted the second lowest score for the Knights with a 96. Last but certainly not least, Matt Malo (Cranston, RI) recorded a 98 on the day.
