CCRI Professor Wayne Suits

Professor Wayne Suits, professor of the Chemical Technology Program in the Chemistry Department, is leading his students in the research and development of the chemical, PS 48, which has shown promise in reversing the effects of Alzheimer Disease.

Job Placement Record

The Chemistry Department offers an Associate in Applied Science Degree (A.A.S.) in Chemical Technology, as well as a Certificate in the program. The job placement record is nearly 100% with a starting salary in the range of $40,000.00.
