Library Hours during COVID-19.

Updated 1/27/2021

Librarians are offering virtual assistance during social distancing. A librarian can be contacted by Chat during normal library hours. You can also send your question by text message using your mobile device.

The library is providing remote services while the CCRI Campuses have limited access. Check the library hours listed on the Library Website for the latest information.

We are currently accepting book returns at all campuses. Return your CCRI and HELIN library materials in a plastic bag to the brown mailbox outside Entrance C at Flanagan or the book return box at the rear of the round building at the Knight campus. Providence campus: return library materials to the book return outside the library doors on the second floor. COVID screening and a mask are required to enter the building. Newport campus: return library materials to the book return in the foyer to the left of the campus police desk.

A library card is required to check out physical materials from the CCRI library and HELIN libraries. Your CCRI ID acts as your library card. If you were not given a CCRI ID due to the college being closed, you can still apply for a library card.

You can resume placing holds on CCRI and HELIN materials in the catalog.

Once your item(s) arrive at the CCRI Campus you selected when you placed your hold, you will receive an email. In the email there is a link for setting up curbside pick up. Please schedule a date and time at the appropriate campus.
