Vaccination and Booster Policy

CCRI requires students to be fully vaccinated, and when eligible, be boosted, to attend in-person classes this Spring.

Students eligible to receive their booster shot must provide proof that they received their booster shot by their first in-person class.  Students not yet eligible to receive their booster shot will have 30 days after eligibility to upload proof. 

Students are eligible for a booster shot five months beyond their second dose of Moderna or Pfizer or two months after the single shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine.  

Free vaccine and booster shots are available Monday – Friday at our on-campus vaccine clinics noted below: 

  • Liston Campus, Atrium: 10 am–3:45 pm 
  • Flanagan Campus, Lobby A: 10 am–3:45 pm 
  • Knight Campus, Great Hall: 10 am–3:45 pm

Booster incentive

Eligible students must upload proof of receiving the booster shot by February 1 to receive the $200 incentive. Students not yet eligible to receive their booster will have 30 days after eligibility to upload proof to receive the $200 incentive.  This incentive ends on April 15 with payment made during the Spring semester.

Unvaccinated Students

effective immediately, all unvaccinated students, students with an approved medical or religious exemption and visitors to any of CCRI’s campuses must show proof of a negative COVID test within 24 hours of coming to campus. Individuals who arrive without proof of a negative test will be directed to take a rapid test at CCRI’s on-campus testing site. Results are available in approximately 15 minutes. Mask/Face Covering Guidance

All students are required to always wear a mask both over their nose and mouth when on campus, except when eating/drinking. Face shields without a face mask are not acceptable face coverings.
