Deb Panzica
Head Coach

Deb Panzica of Scituate begins her sixth season as head coach of CCRI’s coed tennis team. She helped lead the 2012 squad to its best finish in program history with a Region XXI title and a second place finish at the NJCAA Division II Tennis National Championship. Under her leadership, CCRI has had three players named NJCAA DIII Player of the Year: Ross Bouchard was honored in 2013, Alex Cavanagh received the honor in 2010 and Mike Fallone in 2012. Deb previously served as head coach of the women’s tennis team and as assistant coach of the men’s tennis team.

Panzica served for five years as a board member of USA Tennis Rhode Island and served as president of the organization for two years. She also is a former board member of USA Tennis New England. She was a National Tennis Ratings Program verifier for USA Tennis. A multiple-time New England Champion in USTA adult leagues and USTA mixed doubles, she also served as the assistant girls tennis coach at Scituate High School from 2001-02, helping the team advance to the Division II State Championship.

Anthony Lamborghini
Assistant Coach

 

    Anthony Lamborghini returns to the Knights’ tennis coaching staff for his second year. Before taking a year hiatus from coaching, he helped lead the Knights to a second place finish at the Nationals in 2012 the squads best ever finish at the Championships. Lamborghini, along with Mike Fallone were the college’s first doubles national champions and earned First Team All-American honors.
