CCRI men’s soccer seeded eighth in upcoming NJCAA Division III Tournament

The field is set and the NJCAA Division III Region XXI champion Community College of Rhode Island men’s soccer team enters the 2022 NJCAA D-III National Tournament as the No. 8 seed slated to face undefeated No. 1 seed and four-time defending national champion Dallas College Richland in the quarterfinals.

The entire D-III tournament will stream live on the NJCAA Network from Genesee Community College in Batavia, NY.

CCRI’s quarterfinal matchup against the 13-0-1 Midwest District champion Thunderducks is scheduled for 10 am ET on Wednesday, November 9. The remaining tournament field includes No. 2 seed Herkimer, No. 3 Genesee, No. 4 Camden County, No. 5 Suffolk County, No. 6 Anne Arundel, and No. 7 Raritan Valley.

CCRI (7-6-1) punched its ticket to the national tournament for the first time in school history with three wins in the Region XXI Tournament, including a 5-1 win over Holyoke Community College in the championship game last weekend.
