CCRI women’s soccer program hosts Information Session July 20 in Lincoln

The Community College of Rhode Island women’s soccer program hosts an Information Sessions for new and returning students Wednesday, July 20 at 7:30 pm at the Flanagan Campus Fieldhouse.
Information Sessions are designed for enrolled students interested in playing soccer at CCRI. First-year head coach Jeff Patten will be on hand to answer questions and provide information on what is needed for tryouts, which courses to register for, and detailed instructions on completing the mandatory student-athlete packet. All students interested in playing soccer in the fall are welcome to attend.
The Knights return to the field this year for the first time since 2019 after the last two seasons were canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Since 2001, the Knights have won 14 Region XXI championships, including the 2002 team that won the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Championship and the 2003 team that finished as the national runner-up.
