Davis and Cerullo Perform well at Brockmueller Meet!

Warwick, R.I. – February 25, 2019: The CCRI men's and women's indoor track athletes traveled to the Olney-Margolies Athletic Center on the Campus of Brown University to compete in the Brown Running Club Billy Brockmueller Invitational Meet on Saturday. This was a non-scoring meet for college teams. However the CCRI athletes did put forth some very good efforts.

For the Knights in the 60m dash Kyree Davis (Cumberland, RI) finished in 20th place in a time of 8.00 seconds. Davis returned to place 16th in the Long Jump with a leap of 4.45m. For the Lady Knights in the 3,00m run Saramarie Cerullo (Smithfield, RI) finished in 12th place with a fine time of 13 minutes 18.00 seconds.

CCRI Head Coach Gregg Cornell commented after the Meet "Good efforts by the two CCRI athletes who were able to compete. They will look to keep improving as they begin the outdoor season"

The next meet will be Saturday March 30th when they travel to Dartmouth MA to compete at the UMass-Dartmouth Invitational beginning at 10:00am.
