Cerullo and Cedeno Shine at Yale Springtime Invitational!

Warwick, R.I. – April 29, 2019: Two CCRI Track Athletes traveled to New Haven, CT to compete in the Yale Springtime Invitational yesterday: for the Knights men it was Aaron Cedeno (North Providence, RI) and for the Lady Knights women it was Saramarie Cerullo (Smithfield, RI). The Yale Springtime meet was a non-team scoring event but the CCRI student-athletes did perform well in their final meet of the season.

For the Knights Aaron Cedeno placed 13th in 400m in a time of 56.63 seconds. For the Lady Knights Saramarie Cerullo placed 27th in the 1,500m run in a time of 6 minutes 10.00 seconds.

Head Coach Gregg Cornell commented after the Meet: "The two athletes ended the season with strong efforts in their events"
