Monday, March 19
In one of the greatest and most inspiring comeback stories of all time, this film chronicles how a grief-stricken football team rose from unfathomable ruin and despair to achieve one of the most remarkable and triumphant victories in the history of sports.
Former Marshall University head football coach Jack Lengyel shares the life-lessons he learned rebuilding the team.
Music, plays, art displays. The CCRI arts, theater and music departments bring their talents and creativity together for an arts tribute.

Alan Weiss, one of the country’s top motivational speakers, shows how to create positive change & continually raise the bar. Part of Professional Development Day for CCRI faculty and staff. Others RSVP .
Thursday, March 22
11:30 am to 1:00 pm - CELEBRATE DIVERSITY
The Providence campus is the setting for a day set aside to celebrate the diversity of the college community. The program will feature multi-cultural performances by students, as well as a sampling of ethnic foods. The event takes place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Atrium.

AND OPEN MIKE - Newport County Campus
Adjunct Professor of English Linda Ramey and her Creative Writing class will read from their original poems and short stories, while Frank Romanelli, another adjunct English Department faculty, will perform on the guitar. Any student wishing to read a work of fiction or poetry may join the celebration at an open mike.
