President Di Pasquale to receive honorary degree

Rhode Island’s Commissioner of Higher Education and CCRI President Ray Di Pasquale will be awarded an honorary degree from the New England Institute of Technology (NEIT) during the institution’s commencement exercises on Sunday, May 1. Di Pasquale will receive the honor in recognition of his inspirational public service, which serves as an example for New England Tech students.
This year marks NEIT’s 70th commencement ceremony. Former Red Sox pitcher and video game entrepreneur Curt Schilling will deliver the commencement address to more than a thousand students who will receive associate or bachelor’s degrees. Commencement begins at 11 a.m. at the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence.
