  5. Travel & Tourism Certificate
    1. Identify, interpret, and prepare standard types of travel documents
    2. Possess appropriate technological skills appropriate to the travel/tourism workplace
    3. Ensure customer satisfaction by providing travel/tourism services in a professional manner
    4. Understand and promote travel/tourism products and services
    5. Access and disseminate accurate, detailed product and destination information
    6. Demonstrate appropriate critical thinking

  6. Medical Insurance Billing Specialist Certificate
    1. Read, understand and prepare medical business documents and forms
    2. Possess appropriate skills in computer applications in a medical office
    3. Demonstrate the proficiency in the use of CPT and ICD-CM coding systems in entering and/or processing medical insurance claims at the OIG (Office of Inspector General) compliance level
    4. Understand the purpose of health insurance claims forms, including how to properly complete HCFA-1500, which is the universal health insurance claim form used by most private and government insurance agencies
    5. Understand the importance of confidentiality in dealing with medical insurance issues
    6. Provide opportunity to take the AAPC, American Academy of Professional Coders, CPC (Certified Professional Coder) certification exam
