How to create a new page

Part II

  1. Click on the "props" (Page Properties) button.screen shot 10
  2. In the Page Properties Dialog Box:screen shot 11
    1. Select the brackets and text: "{Page Title}" and type the page title of the new page you are creating.
    2. In the "Configuration Parameters" area, select either "Yes" or "No" to determine whether or not the page will have a right-column box.
    3. OPTIONAL: In the Meta Tags area, you may want to:
      1. modify the "Description" to fit this particular page.
      2. Add words to the "Keywords" section which pertain to this particular page. (Add them in front of what is there --do not remove the other keywords).
      3. The "Robots" section should be left as-is, unless you do not want the page to be indexed by search engine robots. If you do not want the page indexed, change what is there to: "noindex,nofollow".
    4. Click the "Save" button.

  5. In the Breadcrumbs text editing view:
    1. select the bracket and text which reads: "{Page Title}".Screen shot 14
  6. Then:
    1. Type over the selected text with the title of your new page. This should be the same text you typed in Step 2a above.
    2. Click the "Save" icon.Screen shot 15
  7. Click on the "Edit" button again (Expand the split screen again to get to the "edit" button, if necessary).Screen shot 4

  9. In the text editing view, select the text and brackets which read: "{Page Title}".Screen shot 17
  10. Type over the selected text with the new page title (it should be the same as what you typed in Step 2a. (Page Title) and Step 6a. (Breadcrumbs).
    1. Important: If you plan to copy & paste the page title instead of typing it, be sure to use the "Paste as plain text" buttonPaste as plain text icon in the toolbar or you will overwrite the heading 1 style.Screen shot 18
  11. Click on the "Edit" button again (Expand the split screen again to get to the "edit" button, if necessary).Screen shot 4
