Username/Password

What is my MyCCRI username and password?

Please visit the Important Login Information page and follow the steps to activate your MyCCRI account.

Why am I getting the message "can't find user id" on the User Name Lookup Page?

There are several reasons why this might occur:

  • If you are a new employee, your information might not be included in the employee database yet or you may need to activate your account. Doing the username lookup will activate your account. Please visit the Important Login Information for instructions on Finding Your Username. Once you complete the username lookup, it will take 30 minutes for your account to be processed.
  • If you are a new student and haven't enrolled or been accepted in a degree program yet you will need to activate your account. Doing the username lookup will activate your account. Please visit the Important Login Information for instructions on Finding Your Username. Once you complete the username lookup, it will take 30 minutes for your account to be processed.
  • If you are a student and haven't attended classes at CCRI in the last two academic years (in this case your account is deleted) you will need to reactivate your account. To reactivate your account, please visit the Important Login Information for instructions on Finding Your Username. Once you complete the username lookup, it will take 30 minutes for your account to be processed.
  • If you are a student, either your Social Security number or your date of birth on file with CCRI is incorrect. Please contact the Office of Enrollment Services at 401-825-2003 to verify that information on file is correct.
  • Make sure that you have typed in your ID number (S.S. # or CCRI ID Number) and Password correctly; refer to Login Information for step by step instructions.

If you are an active student (enrolled in classes) and still get this message, please contact the Service Desk at 825-1112 or itsd@ccri.edu.

Why can't I login to MyCCRI?

If you are using the correct user name and password to login and still receive a message that your session has expired, make sure that your browser is upgraded to one of the supported versions as listed under Browser Related issues.

Why am I locked out from my MyCCRI account?

Again, several unsuccessful attempts by entering the wrong password to login will lock you out from your account for approximately 1 hour. Try again later or call the IT Service Desk at 825-1112 to have your account re-enabled.

How do I change my MyCCRI Password?

We recommend you change your password frequently to keep your account safe from intruders.

What is a Security Question and Answer?

If you have a MyCCRI account and are able to login to your account, we recommend you setup 2 Security Questions and Answers. This feature will allow you to reset your own password without calling and waiting for assistance.

I do not remember my password, what do I do?

If you forget your password and have enrolled in SMOP, setting up two security questions and answers, you may use the online automated process, Self-Service Password Management System to reset your password yourself.
