Setup Outlook 2003 from Home

Use this tutorial to setup your new Exchange profile in Outlook 2003 on your laptop or home computer.

Instructions and Screenshots
Step 1

Click on the "Start" button and then click on "Control Panel"

Double-click on the "Mail" icon.

Make sure “Prompt for a profile to be used” is selected and click the “Add” button.

(If you don’t have any existing email profiles just click the “Add” button)

In the "Profile Name:" text box, type a name for a new profile and click "OK".

Select “Add a new e-mail account" option and click "next".

Select Microsoft Exchange Server and click Next.

Type "mailbox.campus.ccri.edu" in Microsoft Exchange Server field. Type your Domain user name in the User Name field and click More Settings.

Acknowledge the following message by clicking OK.

Click OK in the following prompt.

Click Connection in the following dialog box.

Check “Connect to my Exchange mailbox using HTTP” checkbox and then click on “Exchange Proxy Settings”.

Type "webmail.ccri.edu" in the “Use this URL to connect to my proxy for Exchange” field.

Check “Mutually authenticate the session when connecting with SSL” check box.

Type msstd: *.ccri.edu as shown on the screenshot below and click OK.

Click OK in the following dialog box.

Click OK.

Open Outlook 2003 and the "Choose Profile" dialog box will appear.

From the drop down menu choose your new profile (that you named in step 4) and click OK

In the User name box type "campus\yourusername" and in the Password box type your domain password.

Click OK.

The program will run an automatic process that will replicate your e-mail.
