Archiving Your E-mail Messages in Outlook
Archiving your e-mail messages will move old messages from their original location to a specific file folder. They will not be deleted. After you complete the steps below, you can access the archived e-mail by looking in the "Archive" folder from the folder list within Outlook.
Open Outlook 2007. Click on File in the menu and select "Archive".
Inside the Archive dialog box:
- make sure that "Archive this folder and all subfolders:" is selected
- click on Personal Folders
- From the "Archive items older than:" dropdown, choose 12/31/2007 from the calendar
- make sure that 'Include items with "Do not AutoArchive" checked' is checked
- click OK
