Step 1

Power Button: Use this button to turn the projector on and off. (To turn off, press this button twice. The image will disappear from the screen, but the fan will continue to run for another two minutes after the projector is turned off).

Step 2

Input Buttons: Use these buttons to select the input for the projector. Press the Computer button to project an image from a computer. Press the Video button to project an image from a VCR or DVD Player.

Step 3

Zoom/Focus Buttons: Press this button once to size the image and twice to sharpen the focus. (The word "zoom" will appear on the screen to resize the image. The word "focus" will appear on the screen to adjust the focus.) Use the Volume + and - buttons to make the image larger or smaller and/or to adjust the focus.

Step 4

Power Light: This light indicates when the projector is running and when it is in stand-by mode. When the projector is in standby-mode the light is red. When it is running the light is green.

Step 5

Lamp Light: When this light is flashing green it means the projector bulb is nearing the end of its life. When this light is flashing red it means that the bulb has burned out. If you notice that this light has begun flashing please notify the Help Desk immediately

Step 6

Temperature Light: This light indicates that the projector is over-heating. Please power down the projector and allow the fan to run. Call the Help Desk for further assistance. DO NOT UNPLUG the projector.

Step 7

Menu Options: Please contact the Help Desk at x1112 about making any adjustments to the menu options.

PLEASE NOTE: For classrooms with ceiling-mounted projectors, the image is already sized and focused (step 3).
