Setup Outlook 2003 from Home
Use this tutorial to setup your new Exchange profile in Outlook 2003 on your laptop or home computer.

Step 1Click on the "Start" button and then click on "Control Panel"

Step 2Double-click on the "Mail" icon.
|
Step 3Make sure “Prompt for a profile to be used” is selected and click the “Add” button. (If you don’t have any existing email profiles just click the “Add” button)

Step 4In the "Profile Name:" text box, type a name for a new profile and click "OK".
|
Step 5Select “Add a new e-mail account" option and click "next".
|
Step 6Select Microsoft Exchange Server and click Next.
|
Step 7Type "mailbox.campus.ccri.edu" in Microsoft Exchange Server field. Type your Domain user name in the User Name field and click More Settings.

Step 8Acknowledge the following message by clicking OK.
|
Step 9Click OK in the following prompt.
|
Step 10Click Connection in the following dialog box.
|
Step 11Check “Connect to my Exchange mailbox using HTTP” checkbox and then click on “Exchange Proxy Settings”.

Step 12Type "webmail.ccri.edu" in the “Use this URL to connect to my proxy for Exchange” field. Check “Mutually authenticate the session when connecting with SSL” check box. Type msstd: *.ccri.edu as shown on the screenshot below and click OK.

Step 13Click OK in the following dialog box.

Step 14Click Next.

Step 15Click Finish.

Step 16Click OK.
|
Step 17Open Outlook 2003 and the "Choose Profile" dialog box will appear. From the drop down menu choose your new profile (that you named in step 4) and click OK
|
Step 18In the User name box type "campus\yourusername" and in the Password box type your domain password. Click OK.

Step 19The program will run an automatic process that will replicate your e-mail.
