Highlights of the 2006 - 2007 French and German Clubs:

§        March 20, 2007 – Community Service Day – Volunteer at the Westbay Farm

§        February 3, 2007– Joint trip with Italian Club to New York City for 55 students
 

§        December, 2006 - Fundraiser to Support Friends of Military Youth

§        December 2006 – Christmas Toy and Clothing Drive for Children’s Friend & Service:  Raised over $400.00 to purchase clothing/toys

§        December 16, 2006 - End-of-semester luncheon for 35 students

§        November 16, 2006 – CCRI Leadership Conference

§        November 11, 2006 – Trip to Harvard University’s Art Museums for 82 students
Students had the opportunity to view masterpieces, including works by Van Gogh, Monet, Degas, Pollock, Rembrandt, and Beckmann.  I was assisted by Professors Mansella, Connolly, Apshaga and Lilli.

§        October 18, 2006 – Fundraiser to Support the Wildlife Rehabilitators

§        September 2006 to Present - Tab Drive for Shriners Hospitals for Children

French and German Club Service Learning Hours 2006-2007:

1.  Shriners Hospital Tab Drive                                                 40 students / 9 hours

                        2.  Christmas Toy & Clothing Drive                                          32 students / 8 hours

3.  Fundraiser to Support Friends of Military & Youth            15 students / 2 hours

4.  Christmas Drive to Support Friends of Military & Youth   18 students / 10 hours
