To be considered for this scholarship students must:

  • Be an incoming or continuing student in the Computer Studies Program at CCRI
  • Demonstrate a commitment to pursuing a degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering at CCRI
  • Have financial need (financial need is reviewed with the CCRI Financial Aid Office)
  • Maintain a 3.0 GPA or higher
  • Student is required to write a short essay on why they should receive the Patrick Christian Barbosa Scholarship

To be considered for this scholarship students must:

  • Have meritorious standing
  • Entering and/or have completed one year at CCRI.
  • Possess leadership skills
  • Be involved in student-run organizations such as SkillsUSA either at the high school or college level
  • Students are eligible in any career and technical area of study: administrative office technology, allied health, business administration, computer studies, engineering and technology, industrial technology, nursing or general programs.

To be considered for this scholarship students must:

  • Be a current CCRI computer studies and information processing student
  • First preference is given to a student who is entering the second year of studies at CCRI
  •  Second preference is given to a student who is transferring to a 4-year college or university.
  • Both need and merit are considered in the application process, with emphasis placed on need

Christina M. Liston
Deadline: April 1

To be considered for this scholarship students must:

  • Be a graduating CCRI student from the Liston Campus
  • Have achieved a minimum grade point average of 3.5
  • Have been accepted at a four-year institution for continued studies towards a bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, or a related field
  • Applicants should have demonstrated a high degree of personal initiative while at CCRI and exhibited strong leadership qualities as evidenced by participation in extracurricular activities.
