Financial Aid Timeline
January - February
- Fill out FAFSA or FAFSA renewal before March 1st. for the RI Higher Education Grant
March - April - May
- Fill out FAFSA if you have not already done so
- Make paper or internet corrections on Student Aid Report
- Bring corrected Student Aid Reports to Financial Aid Office
- Check with Financial Aid Office to make sure documents are complete
- Priority deadline for Financial Aid at CCRI is May 1st to guarantee financial aid will be ready for the start of school in September
- Receive RI Higher Education Grant Money for prior semester
June - July - August
- Check with bursar about payment plans if necessary
- Bring corrected Student Aid Reports to Financial Aid Office
- Check with Financial Aid Office to make sure they have all necessary documents
- Make first installment payment if necessary
- Send in enrollment verification to RI Higher Education Assistance Authority
September - October - November - December
- Fill out FAFSA if you have not already done so
- Make second and third installment payment if necessary
- Priority deadline for Spring Financial Aid at CCRI is September to guarantee financial aid will be ready for the start of school in January
- Receive RI Higher Education Grant Money for prior semester
