Students have the right to: Students have the responsibility to:
Appropriate confidentiality of all information related to their disability. Disclose their disability and provide documentation regarding their disability from an appropriate health care professional to the Office of Disability Services for Students (DSS).
Receive reasonable accommodations according to their disability which may include academic adjustment, and/or auxiliary aids determined on an individualized basis using required documentation. Meet with DSS staff each semester to review course requirements and obtain a Request for Accommodations letter for each instructor. Students are strongly recommended to meet with faculty to discuss disability-related needs and accommodations.
Request all services in a timely manner.
Equal access to courses, programs, services, jobs, activities, and facilities available through the College. Meet the academic standards and technical requirements essential for full participation in any academic programs.
  Report any concerns that they may have regarding accommodations as they arise.
  Treat all College personnel with respect.
