PACE Programs

PACE.2.Employment -
New workshop monthly. Free orientation every Friday at 2pm. Room 4212, Knight Campus

Open to the public, a FREE 4-week, 60-hour workshop to help unemployed Rhode Islanders become workplace ready in order to secure and better retain employment.  [Learn more about this program.]

PACE Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Training

Career Pathways for the 21st Century program

This PACE program offers career exploration and skills improvement for adults interested in eventually entering training for a career in one of Rhode Island’s high-demand industry sectors of health care and information technology.    [Learn more about this program.]

Core Skills Mastery (CSM)

CSM is a web-based remediation and acceleration, independent study course that can help prepare an individual for the start of college or a technical job.  CSM is also good practice for improving basic math and reading skills that have become rusty. There is no cost to the student to register and take the Core Skills Mastery training.  For more information please call 825-2072.

Workplace Core Computing Course

The PACE program at CCRI is offering a free, 5 week Workplace Core Computing class. Curriculum highlights include: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Internet skills, and basic computer fundamentals. Graduates will take the IC3 certification exam, a globally recognized certification that validates digital literacy skills. Classes begin May 19th at the DownCity Campus and will run Monday through Friday 1:00 to 4:00 pm.
