I am pleased to announce the appointment of Thomas Sabbagh, Ph.D., as dean of Business, Science and Technology. He has been working in higher education for more than 25 years and has filled this role on an interim basis for CCRI since Jan. 1.

Jansson named interim dean of Health and Rehabilitative Sciences

I’m pleased to announce that Dr. Hilary Jansson assumed the role of interim dean of Health and Rehabilitative Sciences on May 28. Dr. Jansson, who joined CCRI in 1995, has been serving as interim assistant dean of Nursing Education since February 2016.

A message from Purchasing regarding W.B. Mason orders

The last day for placing orders against existing W.B. Mason blankets through the online ordering system for FY17 will be June 16. This will allow all deliveries to be made during the week of June 19 to 23.

A retirement celebration honoring Ed Madonna, Peg Lavoie, Ronald Hamill, Mark Kundig, Cheryl Suglia and Edward Zannella will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, June 25, at Cranston Country Club.

Flanagan’s International Club will hold a fundraiser yard sale and car wash from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on June 17 at the Flanagan Campus in Lincoln.

Massage clinics in Newport

massageCCRI Therapeutic Massage students will run the annual student massage therapy clinics through July 31 at the Newport County Campus. Appointments will be available Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.
